Coach Bolen is a 1998 graduate of Meigs County High School in Decatur, TN. After his senior baseball season, Coach Bolen signed a baseball scholarship to attend Lee University where he played for Hall of Fame Baseball Coach Dave Altopp. Coach Bolen completed his undergraduate degree from UTC in Sports Administration and began his M.Ed. in Special Education from UTC. While working on his M.Ed., he began his coaching career when he was hired as an assistant baseball coach at Tennessee Temple University. After three seasons coaching baseball at the collegiate level, he was hired by Whitfield County Schools as a Special Education Teacher. Coach Bolen is beginning his 20th year as an educator, all in Whitfield County and his 22nd year coaching. Coach Bolen has been with Coahulla Creek since its opening in 2011. Coach Bolen is the proud husband of Amanda Bolen and his three beautiful daughters, Annslee (9), Landyn (5), Marybeth (1).
