Coach King is a dedicated educator and coach with a strong background in both athletics and academics. He began his athletic career playing football and baseball at Ringgold High School before graduating from Lassiter High School. He earned his B.A. in History and his B.S.Ed. in
Secondary Social Studies Education from the University of Georgia, and he is currently completing his master’s degree at Piedmont University, graduating this fall.

Coach King is starting his 1st year as the running backs coach at Coahulla Creek High School and
has proudly been the head football coach at North Whitfield Middle School for the past seven years. In addition to football, he has spent the last six years as the assistant girls’ basketball coach at North Whitfield. He has a passion for youth development and creating community involvement.

He and his wife Karen live in Dalton, Georgia, where they raise their three children—Tristan,
Wyatt, and Kelsey.
