Head Coach

Coach Carter Enters His 7th Year at Coahulla Creek, and his third as the Head Football Coach. He served as the Offensive Coordinator for his first 4 seasons. This Will Be His 14th Year Coaching, and His 12th Year Teaching.

During all 6 years at The Creek, Carter has served as the Quarterbacks Coach, and he has mentored 2 Offensive Region Players of the Year (Kace Kinnamon and Chase Ward).

Carter Graduated From LaGrange College in 2011 With His Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  He Was a Four-year Starter and All Conference Quarterback for the Panthers. Carter Led the Panthers to Their First Conference Title, and Graduated Holding 39 School Records.

After Graduating, Carter Was Hired as a Graduate Assistant Wide Receivers Coach at LaGrange College. He Coached the Panthers’ Wide Receivers From 2011-2013. Carter Earned His Masters of Arts in Teaching in the Spring of 2013 From LaGrange College.

In 2013, Carter Was Hired as the Receivers Coach at Villa Rica High School Where He Coached 2 All-Region Receivers.

From 2014-2016, Carter Served as the Running Backs and Receivers Coach at Elbert County High School. He Coached 2 First Team All-region Running Backs. During That Time, the Blue Devils Set a New School Scoring Record and made back-to-back Elite 8 Appearances.

In 2016, Carter Served as the Offensive Coordinator at Central-Carroll High School.

From 2017-2019, Carter Served as the Quarterback Coach at Pepperell High School. He Coached the Region 7-AA Offensive Player of the Year in 2017, and the First Team Region 7-AA Quarterback in 2018.

Coach Carter and His Beautiful Wife, Heather, Have Been Married for 12 Years. They Have 3 Children, Daughter, Camryn (9) and Son, Case (5), and Daughter, Kendall (2).
