Coach Tierney started his coaching career in 1996, and is entering his 9th at Coahulla Creek.

He has coached all positions and coordinated in all areas throughout his previous 27 seasons. Coach Tierney earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise science from North Central College in Naperville, IL, where he played two seasons of football as a center and long snapper. Tierney earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, and his Education Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. Coach Tierney and his wife, Kathie, are the proud parents of Casey, Zachary, Matthew, Samantha, and Charlie Tierney.
