After a monster junior season, what’s next for the rising senior?
Statistically speaking, Jackson Lowery had perhaps the greatest individual season of any defensive lineman in Coahulla Creek football history. His 12.5 tackles for loss broke a single season school record, and also pushed his career total to 16.5 TFLs, the most of any player ever at The Creek. He earned 7-2A All-Region First Team honors, as well as being named The Dalton Daily Citizen’s First Team All-Area.
Despite all of his personal accolades, Lowery is focused on the bigger picture this year: His Team
“I want to accomplish greatness in my senior year. Stay strong, head up, and put the work in. I want to use those individual accomplishments from my junior year as motivation to achieve more in my last.”

Lowery is very eager to re-write what happened in 2024, saying “I am highly motivated to get the next season going. I know we all could’ve pushed more and done better individually and as a team.”
One thing in particular he is excited about for the 2025 season is seeing the development of his teammates. “I can’t wait to see people grow their skills and use them on the field, leading us to better outcomes.”
He states that one of his team goals for 2025 is “everyone doing their best to accomplish things we know we can do.” Another thing Lowery wants to see from his team is an overall higher energy. “I hope everyone will hype each other up, and help push each other to be a better version of themselves.”
A personal goal of Lowery’s is to continue to develop his knowledge of the game, strengthening himself as much mentally as he does physically.
He adds “I am really hyped to spend one last season with the boys, and see everyone accomplish goals they have set for themselves.”
