Nate Tilley Signs with Reinhardt University

Senior Star Continues his Football Career to the Next Level

The superstar receiver had an outstanding career here at the Creek. Tilley finished his senior season averaging 20.3 Yards Per Reception and added 4 TD receptions as the one of the Colts top receivers. He was also the 3rd leading tackler with 67 tackles for the stingy Colts defense.

Hoping to carry this success with him to the next level, Nate Tilley makes it official with Reinhardt University on Friday. When asked why he picked RU over his other offers, Nate explained, “Their coaches really care about you getting your diploma and graduating college,” which compliments his goals of earning a degree when he graduates. The 2nd team all area and all region honoree also highlighted how he is ready to compete and achieve a championship as an Eagle, even if it takes time to adjust to the “speed and power” changes during the high school to college transition.

Colts Head Coach, Drew Carter, emphasizes Nate’s coachability as he’s approaching the college level. Carter believes his amount of energy and ability to be coached hard will set him apart from other players; thus, allowing him to improve in order to succeed on the football field. Reflecting back on Nate’s accomplishments as a high school athlete, Carter has enjoyed watching him “become a mature young man” and grow in resilience in addition to his stats and progression.

Nate was surrounded by family teammates, coaches, teachers, and friends on Friday afternoon as he put pen to paper.
